HCC To Attend Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA) Annual Meeting
This year marks the 134th annual convention and trade show for the Alabama Pharmacy Association. Healthcare Consultants Pharmacy Staffing is proud once again to sponsor and attend this premier state event. It presents us all with a chance to catch up with friends, network with colleagues, preview the latest Pharmacy products and services, plus participate in a first-class continuing education environment. This year’s convention will take place at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Florida on June 21-24, 2015.The theme for this year's APA convention are the 4 "Ps": Presence, Passion, Purpose and Power. If you've attended an APA event lately or read the last several editions of Alabama Pharmacy you've heard APA president, Becky Sorrell, talk about those 4 "P's" and more. She's challenged pharmacists to be present, have passion for the profession, find our purpose and exercise our power. This applies not only to the State of Alabama, but to Pharmacists on a national level! Representation includes community pharmacy (both chain and independent), hospital, long term care, consulting, pharmacy owners, employee pharmacists, compounding, managed care, specialty, academia, government service, nuclear and clinical pharmacy practices.As well as gathering with friends and colleagues and obtaining continuing education (CEUs), this year's convention will feature Don Yaeger as the keynote speaker. Don is an award winning leadership speaker, eight-time New York Times best-selling author, longtime Associate Editor for Sports Illustrated, business leader and one of Pharmacies most popular spokesperson. In keeping with the theme of the 4 "Ps" (Presence, Passion, Purpose and Power), Don will be sharing his insights on the "Four Characteristics of Greatness" with the attendees.Healthcare Consultants is proud to be associated with the Alabama Pharmacy Association and is showing its support by having a booth at the vendor exhibition space.
