HCC helps large Florida pharmacy group stay open and serve patients through Hurricane Ian

In late September 2022, with a category 4 hurricane threatening to wreak historic damage in the State of Florida, many pharmacies, storefronts, and local businesses began to prepare for the worst. A long-time HCC client serving many patients in nursing home, long-term care, and assisted living facilities, began its contingency planning to ensure continuity of service to their patients during the statewide emergency.

Late one evening before the impending storm, the client called their long-standing, dependable HCC staffing team to fill several temp staffing needs—by the next morning. HCC expertly understood what the client needed in their staffing request, efficiently identified the best matches for their need & in their area using our proprietary methods, and had several qualified, vetted, and experienced individuals placed for the client—in under two hours!

All HCC staff placed with the client during the hurricane helped contribute to the client being one of few pharmacies that stayed open, continued operations, and served all their patients successfully during one of the most severe hurricanes to hit Florida in recent memory.
