Community Pharmacy Gets Through Busy Season with HCC Staffing Support

In fall 2021, a long-standing community pharmacy based in the southeast faced an upcoming busy season threatening to be the highest demand they had ever seen. Without additional staffing support, the community pharmacy risked losing patients to the big box chains, due to long turnarounds on prescription fill times, burnout from existing staff, reduced hours & closures, and a higher chance for errors. The pharmacy relied on HCC staffing support, as they had for many years in the past, to provide temp staffing fills for nearly 3 months, leading to one of their best years ever serving patients in the community.
